Step 1. Sign in to Clipchamp or sign up for free
Watch YouTube videos on Clipchamp, sign up for free today or sign in with an existing account. Click the Login button in the upper right corner. The editor will open automatically as soon as you log in.

Step 2. Create a New Project
Click the purple + Make Video button in the top right corner of the screen. The editor will open automatically. Change the aspect ratio of your project by clicking the 16:9 aspect ratio button on the right. Hover over the aspect ratio and click on the desired aspect ratio. In this tutorial, we’ll be using a widescreen video with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Step 3: Upload a Video File or Select One of Our Stock Photos.
To play a video online, you need to download the video file first. To upload your personal video file, YouTube video, or Instagram video, click the purple + Browse Files button in the editor. Select the video you want to loop to return to the editor. You can also drag and drop your video file into the library.
To use stock footage, select Inventory from the left sidebar to open the Inventory Library. Find a specific genre or browse our folders. Once you find the video file you want to use, click the “+ Add” button and then “Close” to return to the editor. Your playing video will appear in your library soon. You can also use YMP4 converter to upload better quality videos downloaded from YouTube to the library.

Step 4. How to Loop a Video for Free
Drag the video to the timeline. Click the Duplicate button to repeat the video. Click the Duplicate button as many times as you want to repeat the video and a copy will be created automatically. To see the entire timeline, press the → ← Fit to screen button and all your duplicated videos will appear on the screen without having to scroll through them.

Step 5. Export the Video to Mp4 Format.
The last step is to finish the video and save it as an mp4 video file. When you’re done watching the video and making changes, click the “Export” button in the top right corner of the editor. A drop-down list of save options will appear. We recommend saving in 1080p for the highest quality resolution and clicking “Compress” to reduce the video file size. Click “Continue” to export the new loop as mp4. Save the video to your computer, Box, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or upload directly to YouTube.
