It’s easy to miss the cozy homes of upstate New York towns when you visit the northern part of the state, and that’s where we recommend going. We’ve always loved the town of Valhalla and its quaint, old-fashioned looking houses, and we’re half heartedly interested in visiting it this coming winter.
If you want to get close to the real New York, you can visit Old West Tombstone, the oldest and most authentic western town, or simply walk around Old West Tombstone in the morning to get a real up-to-date view of the town.
